Chicago Underground Film Festival and Filmmakers Summit 2008

Employing experimental techniques such as applying liquid light, bleach and duckweed to clear leader, and through a preference for the long take to capture light changes across the surface and people on the boardwalk, this year long visual and aural study of Heron Pond attempts to approach interpretation from an intimate position. Engages with the official interpretive signs of the site as a means of identifying what we as visitors may miss and how signs commenting on place alter our experience by providing additional interpretive layers.
